We’re seeking an experienced, technical, and innovative Retention Marketing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is a data-driven marketer who is customer obsessed and dedicated to driving results. This person will be accountable for developing, executing, and managing all email and SMS campaigns with the goal of activating our base and driving revenue.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy Development:
Creation, implementation, and optimization of comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategies that encompass customer acquisition and retention. Collaborate cross-functionally to align marketing initiatives with business objectives for each campaign.
Automation development:
Optimize series-based emails (welcome series, abandon cart, post purchase, lapsed buyer, etc.) with an eye on testing and value creation.
Customer Segmentation and Insights:
Leverage customer data and insights to create actionable segments, personas, and behavioral profiles. Use these insights to tailor marketing strategies and optimize customer journeys for maximum impact.
Campaign Execution:
Lead the development and execution of personalized and targeted marketing campaigns across various stages of the customer lifecycle. Utilize segmentation and data analysis to deliver relevant content, offers, and experiences that drive engagement and conversions. Design and build the campaign end-to-end.
Calendar management and briefing:
Partner with Brand marketing team to turn seasonal messaging into email content calendar – authoring all briefs (batch and trigger) and the creative development process.
Automation and Technology:
Audit the build of lifecycle marketing campaigns and proactively create new automation programs.
Analytics and Reporting:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for lifecycle marketing campaigns and regularly analyze campaign results, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Present findings to stakeholders and leadership.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to align strategies, share insights, and ensure consistent messaging and customer experiences throughout the lifecycle.
Vendor and platform expertise:
Pro Klayvio user obsessed with using and testing new bells and whistles.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
LOCATION: New York, NY (4 days a week in-office)
SALARY RANGE: $100,000-$125,000
