Overview:
Seeking Private Chef to manage weekly grocery shopping and cooking for a family of 6 running an Avocado Farm in Carpinteria. The ideal candidate will have basic cooking skills, a love of food, understanding of nutrition and like trying new things. Relevant job experience a plus, but skill in executing delicious, homestyle dishes is most important. Healthy entrees high in vegetables, along with chicken, beef, grilled foods, pasta, vegan/vegetarian entrees a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare menu including 5 dinners and 5 lunches each week, plus a few breakfast items, tailored to the client's preferences and dietary requirements
- Manage grocery inventory - weekly shopping/purchasing includes visits to Whole Foods, Albertson's, Bristol Farms, and other stores
- Ensure kitchen is clean and organized at the beginning and end of each visit
Hours TBD but open to around 10-20 hours/week, depending on your availability.
