Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join our optometry team. The Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a medical office setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient services.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients at the front desk, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.
- Verify insurance coverage, process billing information, and obtain necessary authorizations.
- Coordinate patient referrals to specialists or other healthcare facilities as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care coordination.
- Assist with other office duties such as answering phones, filing documents, and maintaining office supplies.
