Motive Creative is Hiring a Social Copywriter/Community Manager Near Los Angeles, CA

Motive Creative is seeking a hybrid Social Copywriter/Community Manager to join our Social/Digital team to support writing, community management, and concepting needs across various film, television, and entertainment brand campaigns. The ideal candidate loves social media and all things film, and is a natural at growing and engaging an active community.

WHAT YOU’VE GOT

  • Deep and versatile background in social media copywriting and social strategy, digital creative campaigns, and the nuances of different platform audiences, ideally with experience in agency, studio, or client-side.
  • 3 years of experience of community management and copywriting for film, television, or consumer facing brands, or comparable experience.
  • Natural passion and instinct for film, television, social media, and pop culture, bonus if you love prestige dramas and horror.
  • Ability to effectively time-manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced creative setting, while maintaining extreme attention to detail, quality control, and organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to build fruitful working relationships.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and resilience, with a desire for personal growth.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop writing across various social needs, including caption copywriting, community management, talent EPK scripts, on-asset copy, etc.
  • Develop a variety of impactful social content concepts that drive engagement and map back to brand strategy, with a robust understanding of what’s trending in the cultural landscape tonally and thematically.
  • Research across the film and social landscape for ownable social opportunities. 
  • Creatively and intuitively organize large programming slates and catalogs for use in brainstorms (quote pulls, moment selects, etc.).
  • Develop creative briefs for team brainstorms.
  • Execute community management and real time copywriting across various campaign priorities.
  • Support in the management and execution of social calendars in tandem with the Social/Digital Coordinator.
  • Evolve ideation based on feedback from multiple stakeholders. 
  • Present pitch decks in tandem with the team.
