Position: KidsPoint Content and Curriculum Associate (Central/Tyrone Campus)

Reports To: KidsPoint Director

Secondarily Reports To: Tyrone Campus Pastor

Status: Full-Time Position / Hourly Non-Exempt

Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday. (Occasional Friday/Saturday and evenings as needed)

Pay Range: $17-19/HR, based on experience

Position Summary:

Join our dynamic team as a KidsPoint Program Coordinator and become a driving force in shaping the next generation of faith leaders! Under the guidance of the KidsPoint Director, you'll spearhead the implementation of our innovative programming and discipleship strategies for children and families. From overseeing curriculum development to ensuring seamless execution on Sundays and beyond, you'll play a pivotal role in fostering a vibrant and inclusive environment where kids can thrive. Essential Database Duties, Responsibilities and Expectations: 

• Under the direction of the KidsPoint Director, champions the KidsPoint programming methods and discipleship strategies to better serve and reach children and families.
• Oversees the KidsPoint Team in reviewing curriculum and teaching content for children ages birth through fifth grade - Bloom, Upstreet and Route 45 for Sunday services, churchwide events and other ministry related needs for children and families
• Reviews and disseminates content, lesson plans and leader guides for KidsPoint staff, leaders and volunteers each week.
• Ensures KidsPoint content and curriculum is suitable for diverse demographics.
• Ensures content and curriculum is executed with excellence on Sundays at Tyrone and throughout the week.
• Responsible for the purchasing, organization and distribution of program supplies for classroom environments across all campuses.
• Stays current with ministry trends, concepts, and ideas that promote relevant and age-appropriate teaching content and curriculum.
• Collaborates with the KP Creative Program Associate to develop a plan for regular communication with staff, volunteers and parents regarding children’s ministry.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Skills Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in education, early childhood development, religious studies or a related field preferred, (4 years ministry experience may be considered as a substitute for required degree).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach.
• Ability to climb stairs and navigate uneven terrain.
• Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.
• Ability to drive and have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations and provide appropriate assistance.
