We are a family owned and operated cemetery, arboretum and community events center serving Arlington and the greater Northern Virginia community since 1917. We provide a full range of cemetery services for hundreds of area families annually and host many onsite community events and catered post-service receptions in our 3411 onsite reception and event center. Our service to the community is expanding and the receptionist/customer care position is a key element in our service team model.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Manage incoming calls and emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate department.
• Provide attentive and personalized customer service to address inquiries and resolve issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for visitors.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing office supplies.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer care role preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to work with and support grieving clients with sensitivity and care.
• Proficiency in Microsoft/Google Office Suite applications and basic office equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in customer service is a plus.
