Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to Health & Safety requirements, and standards of Food Hygiene, Maintain proper working order of all equipment.
  • Consult with senior management daily for all operational requirements.
  • Ensure opening and closing duties are being followed by respective staff.
  • Check daily mise en place and food stations prior to service.
  • Work together with the Executive Chef to select fresh food products and create menus and dishes balancing both creativity and estate, local produces.
  • Enjoys coaching, mentoring, and developing talent.
  • Value a strong partnership with the front-of-house Management Team.
  • Ensure consistency in the preparation of all food items for tasting, a la carte and events menus according to established recipes and standards.
  • Prepare and serve food as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school
  • 2-4 years in a supervisory Chef position
  • College graduate or culinary school graduate with experience
  • Food handler certified
  • Fine Dining restaurant or winery experience a plus
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States
