We are currently seeking a Strategic Account Manager at our Reading, PA Facility

  • Supports strategic direction, objectives, and tactics for sales to achieve targeted objectives of the organization.
  • Meet or exceed new business development goals.
  • Meet or exceed current customer business development goals.
  • Prepares Quarterly and Annual sales forecasts for specific territory.
  • Report regularly to Director of Sales to review sales activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers.
  • Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer’s prospective needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products/services.
  • Prepares forms and sales contracts as directed.
  • Participates in trade shows and conventions as required.
  • Perform other job-related duties as required
  • Must be self-motivated with high sense of urgency, resourcefulness, and adaptability
  • Willing to mentor less skilled employees as career progresses

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 5 years of consultative, solutions based selling experience (preferably plastics packaging industry)
  • Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies
  • Previous cold calling experience
