Senior Manufacturer Sales Representative Job Description

For over 20 years, we have leveraged our extensive network of supplier relationships to bring innovative, high-quality products to major retail channels across the United States. As of 2024, we now have a headquarters in Seattle, Washington!

Position Summary:


We are seeking an experienced Manufacturer Sales Representative to join our team and drive sales growth with key retail partners. In this role, you will utilize your deep industry expertise and established sales network to expand distribution and market share for our diverse, growing product categories, including homeware, kitchenware, and outdoor products.

Job responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow Buyer relationships with Mass Merchants, Wholesale Clubs, and Distributors across Consumer Packaged Goods, Hardware, Outdoor, and Homeware sectors.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to consistently meet or exceed annual revenue targets.

  • Negotiate competitive pricing, favorable promotional programs, and prime shelf placement with retail buyers.

  • Provide market insights, inventory forecasting, and other business intelligence to internal stakeholders.

  • Coordinate logistics, order fulfillment, and customer service to ensure exceptional customer experience.

  • Represent WTDA USA at industry trade shows and other key sales events.

  • Collaborate with our marketing team to create sales material to present to customers.


Qualifications:

  • 20 years of proven experience as a Manufacturer Sales Representative in the consumer goods industry.

  • Extensive sales network and strong relationships with small, medium, and major retail buyers across multiple product categories.

  • Interpersonal capacity to build rapport with clients.

  • Familiar with the Google Suite, WhatsApp, and Zoom

  • Comfortable working with CRM platforms

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Keen business acumen, mindful of key deadlines, and detail-oriented self-starter.

  • Willingness to travel up to 25-50% of the time.
