Growing family law firm - we represent clients in all metro Atlanta counties in actions such as divorce, child support, legitimation, paternity, modification, contempt, and prenuptial/postnuptial agreements. We have a collegial, supportive team and need to add another paralegal due to the amount of work we have.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Family Law Paralegal at Kaye, Lembeck, Hitt & French in Atlanta, GA, with flexibility for some remote work (1-2 days/week) - PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU CURRENTLY LIVE IN THE METROPOLITAN ATLANTA AREA . The Paralegal will be responsible for performing various day-to-day tasks including drafting discovery and discovery responses, preparing DRFAs and Child Support Worksheets, drafting settlement agreements and parenting plans, communicating with clients, opposing counsel and the courts, document review and organization, drafting motions and pleadings. The Paralegal will also assist in case management and trial preparation.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of family law and legal practices
- Experience in legal document preparation and document review
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
- Experience in a law firm or legal setting is preferred
- Paralegal certification or degree in Paralegal studies is a plus
