Duties:
- Conduct legal research using various resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Assist with legal administrative tasks, including document preparation and organization
- Draft legal documents, such as contracts, pleadings, and motions
- Review and analyze legal documents for accuracy and compliance
- Assist with litigation preparation, including gathering evidence and preparing exhibits, and filing petitions
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Strong research skills with experience using legal research databases such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Proficient in legal drafting and writing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
