CANDLELIGHT CLEANERS - GILBERT is Hiring an Operations Manager Near Gilbert, AZ

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily business operations. This position works closely with the store manager and owner. The Assistant Manager would be responsible for ensuring compliance with existing policies and procedures, awesome customer service and continuous improvements daily.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience looking to develop and improve on their managerial skills in a thriving industry! Our ideal Assistant Manager would have experience as a supervisor of staff and operations serving customers in a retail dry cleaning operations position. Industry experience is preferred but not required.

As our Assistant Manager, the candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Lead, develop and implement operational strategies

- Supervise daily operations

- Lead and motivate a team of 3-5 employees to achieve operational goals

- Greet and assist all walk-in customers in the store

- Spotting and cleaning

- General housekeeping to support clean store appearance

- Resolve Customer Issues and Claims

- Other duties as assigned

- Interview, hire, and train new employees to maintain a skilled workforce

- Communicate effectively with staff at all levels to foster a positive work environment

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a Dry Cleaning setting
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience supervising staff and delegating responsibilities efficiently
- Knowledge of Dry Cleaning management practices and inventory control systems
- Familiarity with Dry Cleaning POS operations and financial reconciliation processes
- Outstanding communication abilities to interact with employees, customers, and vendors
