Responsibilities:
- Process medical authorizations
- Assist with litigation calendar
- File court papers on NYSCEF and PACER
- Assist with the drafting and reviewing of discovery
- Investigate facts to help in the defense of lawsuits
- Conduct research to support legal proceedings
- Assist with arrangements for depositions, IMEs and court appearances
- Previous experience as a paralegal, calendar clerk or legal assistant
- Familiarity with discovery, IMEs and authorizations
- Capable of recording billable time for tasks performed as per billing guidelines
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
