Recharge Recruitment are working with a rapidly growing community solar developer who are looking to add a Senior Project Development Manager to their team due to a recent promotion.

The organization specialize in distributed generation projects up to in NYISO, NEISO & MISO and with a strong pipeline in place, need an ambitious individual who has previous experience managing multiple solar projects from inception to NTP.

They are looking for talented developers who thrive in an autonomous environment, enjoy working at a fast pace and want direct contact with the leadership team. This role will report directly to an experienced CEO, who is keen to offer as much knowledge as possible and opportunities for career development.

The environment is not going to be for everyone and will require travel, managing multiple tight deadlines, and a need to lead every aspect of the project lifecycle. In return, they can offer remote working or hybrid if you prefer to be in the office and a commission structure that offers a % of project revenue.

Responsibilities will include:

• Assist in identifying potential acquisitions of project development assets.
• Travel to project sites to engage stakeholders and evaluate site conditions.
• Evaluate projects based on technical and financial criteria.
• Support in preparing project scopes, estimates, and technical documents.
• Manage all project activities during development, including bid documents, timelines, and budgets.
• Identify and resolve issues within the project lifecycle, devising risk mitigation plans.
• Oversee project development processes like licensing, permitting, and interconnection.

Package on offer:

• $120,000 - $160,000
• Commission between 3 - 5% of project value
