**Job Title:** Medical Receptionist Ob/GYN Office
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service and administrative support in a fast-paced medical office environment. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience working in a medical office setting is highly desirable.
**Responsibilities:**
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate patient records
- Verify insurance information and process payments
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries
- Submit disability forms for patients
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry and end of day reconciliations
**Experience:**
- Previous experience working in medical setting preferred
- Familiarity with Aprima software systems a plus
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy environment
