Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity and diagnose eye conditions

- Prescribe and fit eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids

- Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to manage and treat ocular diseases and conditions

- Educate patients on proper eye care and recommend preventative measures

Requirements:

- Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution

- Valid optometry license in New York

- Proven experience as an optometrist, preferably in a clinical setting

- Strong clinical skills and ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of eye conditions

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
