Job Summary:

- Oversee the Division's application and system development implementation design efforts.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business analysts for the design and architecture of new applications.
- Provide recommendations for updating and upgrading existing databases and data.
- Ensure adherence to DevSecOps and Zero Trust methodologies.
- Design and update end-to-end systems using modern coding standards in collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Standardize system design and data structures for all systems supported by DOR.
- Make recommendations to improve data import and export processes.
- Review database structures when applications are created or enhanced.
- Provide guidance to teams on database performance tuning and normalization.
- Mentor junior developers and database administrators.
- Manage multiple tasks and initiatives concurrently.
- 5 years' experience in DevSecOps application development required.
- 5 years of experience designing cloud native systems and services running on a Kubernetes platform needed.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust Security model and secure, regulatory compliant solutions required.
- Experience in designing shared common services and applications is required.
- Familiarity with IT systems for tax filing, processing, and administration is a plus.
- Familiarity with IRS Publication 1075 and NIST 800-53 requirements is a plus.
