Job Description:

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Instructors for our After School Program. The ideal candidates will have a passion for working with children, strong communication skills, and the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Instructors will be responsible for delivering educational and recreational activities, ensuring student safety, and supporting the overall goals of the program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and age-appropriate educational and recreational activities for students.
• Assist in the preparation and setup of materials and equipment for daily activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment.
• Monitor student behavior and ensure adherence to program rules and guidelines.
• Take accurate attendance and ensure student safety at all times.
• Support students in completing homework and other academic tasks.
• Communicate regularly with the Lead Teacher and other staff members about student progress and any issues that arise.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment where all students feel valued and supported.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in Education or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of students, parents, and staff.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
