Overview:

We are seeking individuals to join our team. A compassionate Caregiver to provide exceptional care and 1:1 support to an intelligent young man with Autism and LGS Epilepsy in our home. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in helping a young man maintain his independence and quality of life. Job Duties Include:

-1:1 safety guidance with seizures.

- Redirecting of behaviors.

-Interacting with RPM communication and lessons.

-Companion care by reading , music, and bringing knowledge into daily life.

- Assist in personal care duties in the bathroom.

Requirements:

- Must be 18 years plus.
- Pass background and reference checks.
- Must be able to move fast for protection of seizures.
- Must be in good physical health and be able to adjust body weight of 120lbs while client is laying down if a seizure occured.
- Previous experience with seizures is a plus.
- Manage client behavior and respond to behavioral issues in a calm and professional manner.
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is required.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' conditions to the care team.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for client, including administering first aid when necessary.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
