RMC Architects (RMC), a community-focused design firm in Bellingham, WA, is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team. Located in Northwest Washington, Bellingham’s small-town, outdoorsy vibe is juxtaposed with two major metropolitan cities nearby – Vancouver, BC to the north and Seattle, WA to the south – providing the perfect location for the quintessential Pacific Northwest life. Our 19-person office is located downtown amid thriving, locally-owned businesses. We are seeking architectural staff with 3-5 years of experience. Starting salary ranges from $65,000 - $80,000 plus benefits and end of year bonus and is negotiable upon experience. We strive for work/life balance, and offer competitive salary; paid personal, vacation, and holidays; continuing education; healthcare benefits and a retirement plan with up to 3% salary match.
The ideal candidate for this position is passionate about architecture and sustainability, pursues design excellence regardless of project size, has strong technical abilities, and meets the following criteria:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in architecture with an accredited architecture program
- Excellent graphic and presentation drawing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively through all phases of project delivery and coordinate with clients and consultant teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exemplifies leadership potential
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam a must
- Proficiency with SketchUp, rendering software, and Adobe Creative Suite a plus
