We're looking for an Office/Legal Assistant to join our team for a temporary (3-4 months beginning mid-August through December) full-time position that could lead to a permanent full-time position. The successful candidate will be the right fit for our collaborative legal environment, be able to read and answer correspondence, communicate with courts, attorneys, clients. Must have good communication and typing skills and be able to be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced office.

Responsibilities:

• Draft and obtain legal documents.
• Communicate with courts, attorneys and clients.
• Be able to work independently with some supervision.
• Some legal experience preferred but not required.
• Draft documents for review by supervising lawyer/staff.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
