Paralegal / Legal Assistant Needed

Hello, we are looking for a paralegal / legal assistant to work alongside our in-house counsel across our various companies.

Expectations:

• This position will expose you to several different types of law including: corporate, tax, business, contract, real estate, securities, employment, media, etc.
• Our ideal candidate is a go-getter who is looking to get in early at a company and expand their role as the company grows.
• This position is extremely fast paced and will be demanding. Your personal time and out of office time is respected, however, you will also be expected to be a part of and help the team when major projects are underway and there is a fast-approaching deadline.
• You must be willing and able to adapt quickly. Many decisions change throughout the week based on additional information gathered and these changes are typically implemented immediately.
• You will be asked to assist with several different projects at once across upwards of 5 affiliated companies.
• You must be organized and keep your project tasks and timelines organized.
• There will be collaboration on these projects, however, you will also be expected to manage your own task list at the same time.
• You will be required to work in-person in Ventura, CA. Remote work is not an option.
• Past legal experience necessary. Directly relevant legal experience not required but preferred. We will train you on the tasks you will be given and will work with you should you run into any roadblocks or issues as the projects progress.
