Job Description And DutiesThe CalHHS Office of Technology and Solutions Integration (OTSI) is responsible for managing the public-facing, statewide California Healthcare Eligibility, Enrollment, and Retention System (CalHEERS). CalHEERS is the Affordable Care Solution in California and serves as the consolidated system supporting eligibility, enrollment, and retention for the California Health Benefit Exchange and Medi-Cal under the authority of two sponsoring departments, Covered California and the Department of Healthcare Services (DHCS). The OTSI State team provides operational oversight of a system integrator that is tasked with the maintenance and operations of the CalHEERS system and with ensuring effective governance and stakeholder engagement. Services include project management, service delivery and system delivery, contract management, vendor management, procurement and state and federal fiscal management.
