We are an independent eyewear boutique looking for two unique individuals to join our deeply vibrant and service-forward atmosphere.

Our ideal candidates should have a strong background in customer service, be incredibly detailed-oriented, patient, outgoing, and have a passion for style that they can share with our customers. As a small business with a great reputation, we’re searching for people who can specifically engage with people on the sales floor and help our customers feel comfortable and excited about shopping with us.

We only carry independent designers and expect our new hires to share in our enthusiasm for world-class designs; one of your main responsibilities will be to help “matchmake” customers with the perfect frame(s) out of the thousands we offer.

About the job(s):

Applicants should expect to work 3-4 days a week, with a strong emphasis on Friday and Saturday shifts, starting as soon as August.

While a background in optical work is not required, we’re searching for team members that have relevant work experience, including adjusting and/or repairing eyewear, troubleshooting prescriptions, taking measurements and discussing prescription lenses. These are not necessary skills, but they are a plus and can be learned in time!

Pay is negotiable depending on experience.

Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting eyeglasses, frames, and lenses that best suit their needs
- Take accurate measurements for eyeglasses and ensure proper fit
- Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and care techniques
- Adjust and repair eyewear as needed
- Process orders and maintain accurate customer records
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the eyewear selection process

Skills
- Knowledge of optical products and services a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on retail sales
- Basic math skills for measurements and transactions
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
