We are looking for an experienced staff accountant to join our team! Job duties consist of but are not limited to:

Full cycle accounting: Logging and reviewing journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, creating invoices, crafting spreadsheets.

Clerical Duties: Prepare quarterly reports, assist with payroll processing, assist with year-end audits and bank reconciliations.

Customer service: Coordinate with vendors via email and phone and negotiate penalties.

Financial reports: Create and update balance sheet, statements of income, statement of retained earnings and cash flow statements.

Automate: QuickBooks integrated into excel with VBA knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities:

· Organize and update financial records (digital and physical)

· Analyze, record and adjust transactions

· Perform regular, detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures and investments

· Forecast revenue and analyze profit margins

· Conduct ledger reconciliation and manage accounts payable/receivable

· Brief senior managers regularly on the company’s financial status

· Liaise with Tax Accountants to track tax payments and returns

· Monitor bookkeeping activities regularly

· Keep company financial information confidential

· Establish and update accounting policies and process improvement

· Stay informed on industry developments and changes in regulations

· Assist in budgeting processes

Education and Experience 

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

1-2 years of accounting work experience

Competencies and Skills:

• Good command of the English language in both verbal and written skills
• Self-motivated, independent and proactive worker with a high level of organization, professionalism and attention to detail
• Advanced Excel formula skills required
• Solid communication and analytical skills a must
• Familiarity and willingness to work in a deadline-oriented, fast paced environment
• Proficiency in data entry systems such as QuickBooks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, VBA is an asset
