Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative Digital Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing visually compelling graphics and creating user-friendly web interfaces. This role requires a blend of strong graphic design skills and an understanding of UX/UI principles to ensure our digital materials are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to ensure design consistency across various media outlets.
• Design and develop visually appealing graphics for digital media, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and marketing materials.
• Create and maintain user-friendly web interfaces, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
• Collaborate with marketing, development, and product teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality design solutions.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.
• Ensure all designs are aligned with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and refine designs for optimal user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in graphic design and UX/UI to continually improve the quality and impact of our designs.
• Optimize graphics and web designs for performance, ensuring fast load times and responsiveness across devices.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field.
• 3 years of professional experience in graphic design and web UX/UI design.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and web design tools (Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD).
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of graphic design and web UX/UI projects.
• Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and feedback clearly.
• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with user research, usability testing, and data-driven design decisions.
• Ability to work onsite in Charlotte, NC, five days a week.
