POSITION SUMMARY :
Prepares food and cooks menu items in accordance with established
procedures. Ensures that every guest receives food quality that exceeds expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Works efficiently and quickly to expedite food production.
Checks and ensure that raw materials are within quality standards.
Prepares and cooks all menu items in accordance with established recipes, methods of
preparation and guest requests.
Maintains proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards while preparing, cooking,
storing and cleaning.
Cleans grill continuously and keeps grill area neat, clean, stocked and organized.
Assists in putting deliveries away, stores and rotates food items in accordance with
company procedures.
Performs opening and closing side work duties when required.
Show up every day and on time for your scheduled shifts.
For California employees only maintain a valid Food Handler Card.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions, such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral,
or diagram form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend most of his / her shift standing
and walking, also the employee is required to use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands
and arms; eye sight to determine that food is properly cooked, and talk or hear. The employee
will be required to occasionally climb, stoop, bend or kneel.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee
encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed for extended periods of time to
moving mechanical parts, wet and / or humid conditions, extreme heat, smoke, grease and risk of
burns and electrical shock. On occasion the employee will be exposed to extreme cold when
entering the freezer area to retrieve items.
