Tate Branch Auto Group is Hiring an Automotive Parts Manager Near Lubbock, TX

Tate Branch Auto Group is seeking a result-driven and customer service-oriented Automotive Parts Manager to join our team! This individual will be responsible for managing the parts department, overseeing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers. This is a part-time position with a base salary plus commission.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the parts department, including inventory control, ordering, and stocking
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal customers (service and sales departments) and external customers
  • Assist in resolving customer service issues and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Meet and exceed sales goals by promoting and selling parts to both wholesale and retail customers
  • Keep up to date with product launches, recalls, and updates to ensure accurate inventory and knowledge of parts
  • Train and develop team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and other relevant information
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business or related field preferred
  • Previous experience in a parts or customer service role in the automotive industry
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and products
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in computer skills, including the use of inventory and sales software
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
