As part of the Calmax Quality team, this role will work hand in hand with manufacturing to help address any recurring quality issues as well as look for any areas of improvement that will benefit Calmax as a whole. This is not an analytical job as much as it will be a “boots on the ground” approach to work side by side with the manufacturing team. A major component of this role will be reviewing the RMA product as received by Calmax .

RMA DAILY WORK:

• Review returned goods in the RMA area to ensure the customer has provided properly packaged and undamaged returns.
• After reviewing RMA’s, you will train with quality team how to effectively fill out RFQ’s for the estimating team.
• Once RFQ has been completed, you will organize jobs into staging queues until price approval is received.
• Once pricing is approved by customer, you will be trained on printing out the traveler and ensuring the job(s) are moved to their next step in the process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Familiarity with blueprint reading and Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
• Provide data collection and assistance to Quality management pertaining to Failure Analysis (FA) and Root Cause Analysis (RCCA)
• Perform Internal Process (Audits) and (pre-shipment reviews to assure compliance to print).
• Comply with applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations, Company policy and accepted safe work practices.

RECOMMENDED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS:

• Audit certification desirable.
• Green Belt certification desirable.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• At least 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, preferable semiconductor required.
• Exceptional mechanical aptitude.
• Machine Shop experience desirable.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge required including use of formulas (i.e., XLOOKUP, IF statements) as well as PivotTables and Pivot Charts.
