Five Star Airport Alliance is Hiring an Electrical installer Near Honolulu, HI
Job Summary
Oversees the electrical control installation in order to meet specification requirements for the assigned project. Performs the proper testing to complete start-up of projects.
Duties :
- Follows Five Star Airport Alliance Electrical Department standards in electrical control installation and commissioning.
- Ensures compliance with customer requirements specified in project documents. Communicates with the electrical project engineer in order to implement directions and tasks within the project.
- Contributes to keeping installation standards and database updated to ensure a high-quality product. Keeps current with technology in baggage handling.
Ensures that all safety regulations are met. Acts as the Company’s representative of the Electrical Department during commissioning of the project at the site.
Travel needed electrical control installation.
Requirements :
- 5 years’ experience in electrical field installation and willing to travel.
- May be required to complete an apprenticeship and / or have electrical license as a Journeyman. Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the baggage-handling field.
Experience with controls automation (24v ac / dc, and 120vac) and 480v. motor experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational and project management skills. Electrical installations experience in BHS or industrial controls.
- Must understand PLC I / O wiring, checkout, and problem solving.
- Also, must be able to read and interpret PLC I / O drawings which include the operation of all field devices and connected components.
- Technical expertise to resolve PLC related installation issues is crucial for this position. Variable experience with centralized & distributed controls MPC / PLC Systems.
Preferable is centralized controls.
