Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer 3 in Mossville, IL. This is a long term contract. It can lead to permanent employment with our customer. Compensation is $80,000/yr including benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, 401K and holiday pay. Cullerton Group will provide sponsorship.

The position is with the Manufacturing and Validation team within the Global Engine Development – NA organization based at the Mossville Technical Center. The individual will be accountable for:

• Provide manufacturing solutions to the assembly and disassembly of engines
• Develop and implement assembly processes in line with standard processes
• Provide analysis to drive to root cause and/or determine improvements, and lead projects to develop and implement solutions
• Troubleshoot day-to-day issues, develops solutions, and monitors improvements
• Procure material related to manufacturing improvements through external suppliers
• Respond to customer issues and lead process improvements
• Improve Value Stream metrics by defining and implementing process improvement activities

• Position’s Contributions to Work Group: Provide manufacturing support to engine builds/testing

• Typical task breakdown:Standard work, tooling design, tooling orders, BIQ walk backs

• Interaction with team: Team environment, working with mechanics and technicians
• Strong interpersonal skills

• Work environment: Lab/Office environment
• Education & Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology. Any amount of experience will be considered with a Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study.
• Will accept non degree candidates, must have engine experience with 5 years related experience. H.S. Diploma and GED candidates will be considered.
