Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various medical specialties and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Must be licensed Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of Michigan
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
- Must be a graduate from an accredited institution
- BLS and ACLS required
- Compassionate Team player
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR programs
- Ability to work as a sole provider at an outpatient facility with a medical supervisor available on call
- Ability to consistently present a friendly, welcoming, and professional appearance
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
- Administer injections, immunizations and other medical procedures
- Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations
- Provide counsel and medical treatment to patients
- Educate patients on overall wellness and health maintenance
- Develop and implement patient management plans
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
