Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor will help supervise the activities of all C&W Services Facility groups and outside contractors. This individual will also ensure that facility services are being provided in a proper and cost-effective manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pay: $27hr-$30hr.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday (Monday-Thursday 7:00am-5:00pm, Friday 7:00am-11:00am)
• Direct and develop subordinates to produce professional results and workmanship of an efficient Facility Management organization.
• Help support facility budgeting process to ensure appropriate and timely preparation. Work with established constraints and facility conditions and report on variances when applicable.
• Direct the daily activities of all C&W SERVICES facility groups as well as sub-contactors.
• Establish and maintain effective lines of communication with the customer and facility personnel regarding work schedules and distribution and coordination of materials in these facilities. Ensure that all facilities under his/her responsibility are safe and comply with all federal, state and local laws. Support implementing cost savings procedures and formation of budgets and reports.
• Ensure that all work performed under his/her supervision is done in a timely and cost-effective manner according to the applicable codes.
• Interface with customer management personnel to ascertain that their needs and requirements as related to the facility management contract are being satisfied.
• Organize and develop short- and long-term goals and objectives.
• Negotiate or review service and maintenance contracts.
• Monitor all department records, reports, statistics, and facilities.
• Assist Manager in Developing an annual operating and capital budget for all facilities.

REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education and/or Experience):

• Minimum (3-5) years of progressive Management/Operations experience.
• Must have the ability to partner with all levels of employees and build relationships.
• Must have strong employee relations and management skills.
• Must demonstrate stand-up presentation skills.
• Must have proficient computer skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and E-mail.
• Most possess excellent managerial and conflict resolution skills.
• Must have the ability to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Most possess extensive investigative experience.
• Must be able to prepare comprehensive reports and represent ideas clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions in a manner consistent with the essential functions of the job.
• Ability to travel 50% or more
