Case Manager – Foster Care
A position geared for resourceful individuals who are skilled in identifying individual needs as well as locating and connecting to appropriate resources. From assessing the needs of a child that has been placed into a foster care home, coordinating with external entities such as the DSS to ensure the child is receiving what is needed to eventually return home, conducting in-home visits and attending visitation sessions and court appointments, and providing on-going support to foster care parents - this position gives you the opportunity to make a lasting impact on foster care children and their families.
Position Specifics
Location: The Children’s Campus - Abingdon, VA
Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Monday-Friday
Compensation: $18.50 – Commensurate with education/experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related fields and registered as a Qualified Mental Health Professional – Children.
Experience: One (1) year clinical experience.
