General Description

This position removes materials from delivery vehicles, prepares and delivers product for shipments to customers, and / or pulls stored or work-in-process materials for orders and moves to production or shipping area.

Responsibilities of Position

• Removes shipped materials from delivery vehicles.
• Accurately counts the materials.
• Identifies the materials using part numbers.
• Examines the receiving documents to ensure that the product was an authorized purchase. Performs incoming inspection of raw materials.
• Moves the materials to the designated storage area and properly physically puts away materials. Documents information related to the receipt of the goods.
• Turns in receipt transactions into purchasing.
• Will operate a forklift for moving or stacking materials.
• Brings reconciled report to purchasing accounting daily along with all receiving documents.

Requirements of Position

• Able to follow verbal orders from supervisor, work with limited supervision.
• Good mental and visual effort required.
• Will operate a forklift for moving or stacking materials.

• Other duties as assigned by Manager or Lead.
• High mental and visual effort required.
• Good physical condition required – some lifting and outside work. Lifting up to 80 pounds, and 50 pounds repetitively.
• Willing to work overtime and some Saturdays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
