Responsibilities:
- Design of manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Involvement with continuous improvement initiatives of manufacturing methods.
- Work hand in hand with craft employees.
- Act as a resource for technical guidance to manufacturing personnel.
- Assist in justification of new equipment.
- Interface with other manufacturing departments to address and resolve technical issues.
- Adhere to EH&S, quality, continuous improvement, and other company policies.
- Integrated role as direct support of the Maintenance Organization.
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- 3 years of experience with electrical systems and controls utilized in industrial applications.
- Experience in installing, programming, and troubleshooting AC drives, DC drives and Programmable Logic Controllers.
- Skills Required: problem solving, manufacturing processes, electrical systems. Engineering support, FMEA.
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
- 5 years of experience with working knowledge of manufacturing processes and principles.
- 5 years’ experience in product and process failure analysis and an understanding of world class manufacturing techniques such as lean manufacturing, FMEA, RCM SPC, TQM, etc.
- Strong written and oral communications skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient problem solving and creative thinking skills.
- Strong maintenance background.
- Familiarity with instrumentation including HART communications.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Gas fired combustion system exposure desired.
