JOB SUMMARY

Performs grant development and administration work involving preparing and reporting of grants; evaluating grant applications to determine appropriateness of grant or compliance with requirements and standards; monitoring grant awards; and serving as a liaison between funding sources and the state or federal government.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Research and identify potential grant opportunities.
2. Write compelling grant proposals and applications.
3. Collaborate with team members to gather relevant data for grant submissions.
4. develop project budgets and financial justifications for grant proposals.
5. Maintain accurate records of grant submissions and outcomes.
6. Build and nurture relationships with funding organizations and donors.
7. Monitor and track deadlines for grant applications.
8. Provide updates and reports to contracts on grant activities and progress.
9. Conduct prospect research to identify new funding sources.
10. Participate in meetings related to grant funding opportunities and strategies.
11. Perform all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

1. High School diploma required.
2. Laptop computer required.
3. Must be 21 years of age due to insurance purposes.
4. Must have excellent communication skills.
5. Must have excellent writing skills.
6. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

EXPERIENCE

No experience necessary, will train.
