The company’s mission is to revolutionize the premium cataract surgery experience by allowing surgeons to partner with their patients to achieve optimized results for every unique eye.OverviewThe Talent Acquisition Coordinator, reporting to the Associate Manager of Talent Acquisition, is responsible for updating employee files, maintaining company databases, scheduling candidate interviews, screening potential candidates to fill company job vacancies, and ensuring an effective, engaging onboarding process for new hires. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Support the recruiting process by scheduling candidate interviews, facilitating testing, assessments and candidate on-boarding.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all onsite interviews, ensuring candidates are greeted upon arrival, set up in necessary conference rooms, and introduced to interviewers as necessary.
  • Update company databases with new employee contact information and employment details.
  • Support the onboarding process, including new hire orientation and benefits packages, ensuring timely and accurate completion of employee paperwork and identification.
  • Collect necessary I-9 documents required for eligibility verification within 48 hours of new hire start dates.
  • Ensure all new hires complete the required first-day/week training requirements to remain compliant.
  • Set up onboarding schedules for new hires in partnership with the recruiting team and hiring managers.
  • Form close relationships with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure clear candidate/interviewer expectations.
  • Keep records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork.
  • Process reference checks for final candidates.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, files, and documentation.
  • Arrange pre-employment testing, background, and reference screenings.
  • Make travel arrangements as needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for newly hired employees, creating a positive onboarding experience to promote retention.
  • Provide support in all functional areas of Talent Acquisition and Human Resources as needed.
  • Work well with all levels of internal employees and preserve confidential information.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
RequirementsREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • 2 years of experience in a coordinator, scheduling, or similar support role.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with social media and professional networks.
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and work as part of a team.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, identify improvements, and make decisions independently.
  • High degree of dependability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in HR systems, applicant tracking systems, and HR management systems.
  • Detail-oriented and customer service-focused.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, And TRAINING
  • Associate’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of full-cycle recruitment experience preferred.
  • Experience in recruiting, coordinating, scheduling, and/or employee onboarding.
  • Complete required training per the training plan for this position as maintained in the document control system.
  • Complete training requirements for TRN-10007 Insider Trading Policy, TRN-10008 Global Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy, and TRN-10009 Code of Business Conduct and Ethics within 30 days of the hiring date and annually thereafter.

Computer Skills
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a working knowledge of Excel and Word and are expected to be on the Moderate to Expert level.
  • Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook and Scheduling Assistant.
  • Prior experience using Smartsheet is a plus.
