### Job Overview:
We are growing and impacting more kids each season and we are currently hiring new instructors for our Jr N Zone program in the Pittsburgh area! This position entails coaching a group of 2-6 year olds usually consisting of approximately 8-12 students in a class. Sessions are held at daycare facilities or preschools around the Pittsburgh area and typically run in the mornings and afternoons Monday through Friday. As we continue to grow we will add additional schools.
We are the top family based multi-sport enrichment program for children in the region. We follow an amazing curriculum for each sport and age group from 2 and up and we infuse life skills and core character values in our weekly sessions! We value leadership, high energy, patience, and passion for working with kids. We offer T-Ball, Basketball, Soccer, Flag Football, kickball and more! We are selective as it takes a certain passion to work with kids and run the best sessions for all of our families and schools in the region. Working with children brings with it a sense of security and professionalism so we are very selective with who we ask to join our coaching family and we require 3 clearances in order to work with our children along with having reliable transportation.
### Responsibilities:
Passion for working with children: You must be able to engage and lead a group of children from ages 2 and up with previous experience.
Prior Sports Playing/Coaching Experience: experience is preferred, but if you have a passion for children, then we will teach you the curriculum for each of the sports we offer.
Professional: Must be neat in appearance and wear your N Zone Sports Shirt, friendly, cordial, and courteous with center staff and director and our parents. Must be organized, prepared for each session to deliver the weekly curriculum and have all equipment ready for session.
Responsible and reliable: All coaches arrive 15 min prior to each session, checks in with the director or assistant director, delivers the best session using N Zone Sports core values and ethics, Updates rosters weekly, & communicates with School Director and N Zone Sports Director.
Energetic / Charismatic: passion and love interacting with young children with the ability to get on their eye level, maintain control and deliver the best session for the kids so they look forward to each weekly session. We are characters so being silly, goofy, fun and capturing their attentions is key!
- We currently are running sessions in Upper St. Clair, Robinson, and Cranberry. Applicant may be asked to travel to additional locations within Allegheny County as we continue to grow.
