Our Direct client is seeking a talented associate with 2-5 years of experience to join our commercial litigation and insurance coverage team in the Richmond office. As a mid-sized law firm, we provide a unique opportunity for lateral associates to engage in high-level legal work within a collegial and hardworking team. Our team handles a diverse range of complex business disputes for healthcare and insurance clients.

In this role, you will be immediately immersed in case leadership with significant hands-on responsibilities. You'll work under the guidance of experienced attorneys and will be expected to deliver client-ready work products while participating in the development and execution of legal strategies from start to finish.

About You:

• Driven and Smart: You are a motivated attorney eager to learn and grow in a team-oriented environment.
• Experienced Litigator: You have at least 2 years of litigation experience.
• Skillful Writer and Researcher: You possess excellent writing, research, and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Educational Background: You have a strong academic record and hold a law degree.
• Client Service Focused: You have a passion for providing excellent client service and a dedication to the practice of law.
• Licensed Attorney: You are admitted to practice in Virginia. Admission in DC, MD, and surrounding jurisdictions is a plus, but not required.
