Job Title: ControllerDepartment: ExecutiveReports To: CEOLocation: Allentown, PASummary: OAA Orthopaedic Specialists, the preferred choice of the Lehigh Valley for comprehensive orthopaedic care for over forty years, is looking for a full-time Controller to manage, review, and analyze all financial activities for the Organization.
Essential Functions:

Essential Functions:
- Manage and direct all financial and fiscal operations for the organization to include:
- Financial reporting
- Financial analysis
- Cash management
- Budgeting
- Oversee Accounting Department to include payroll
- Responsible for compilation of monthly financial statements which include:
- Corporate
- Shareholder
- Non-Shareholder physicians
- Provide ancillary summaries and manage annual distributions to Shareholders
- Responsible for cash flow projections
- Act as 401(k) plan administrator
- Participate in negotiation and management of employee benefit programs
- Maintain positive banking relationships
- Manage and negotiate Company insurance plans to include:
- Worker’s Compensation
- Executive and general liability
- Assist with consolidation of Foundation financial data
- Facilitate year-end audit and 401(k) compliance testing
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and 5 plus years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and their application
- Highly proficient in Excel and a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience and understanding of medical billing and coding is beneficial
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
