Your RoleAs the Program Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing direct supervision to staff in Community Day Services. This position will also be responsible for the quality and delivery of programs, ensuring program compliance with state rules and regulations and agency standards. This position may vary in site location, including on-site programming facilities, community-based programs, CILA sites, and/or remote work environment, as assigned.
Responsibilities
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include but are not limited to recruiting, onboarding, and training employees; performance management; and conflict resolution.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and accountability for services to all individuals in assigned program through training, coaching, and supervision of DSPs.
  • Work with team to develop and maintain curricula for programs, program schedules, and enrollments in alignment with person-centered planning.
  • Collaborate with the Service Coordinator and/or other Community Support Team members to ensure services are provided to each individual in accordance with the consumer’s Person-Centered Plan.
  • Provide direct support care to individuals including personal care, crisis management, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), and leading group activities.
  • Provide ongoing collaboration and outreach to build relationships with various stakeholders, including but not limited to consumers, families, guardians, area businesses, other non-profit resources, schools, and members of the community, that expand opportunities for individuals served to volunteer, attend, and engage in activities within their community.
  • Manage time/attendance for team, in compliance with payroll procedures. Manage programming schedules and assignments to ensure adequate coverage across assigned programs.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Minimum of one year supervisory/administrative experience.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Valid driver’s license and documentation of current auto insurance, with an acceptable motor vehicle report.
  • Proficient in the use of computers, software applications, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs.
