We are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Manager who is positive, service-oriented, energetic and self-motivated to join our team on a full-time basis. This position reports directly to the General Manager. Job Requirements: Candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Minimum 2 years work experience as a Manager within a hospitality/hospital housekeeping department
• Extremely detail oriented
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. Both English & Spanish
• Ability to effectively prioritize, organize, and most importantly have efficient/effective time management skills
• Ability to work productively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs; Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and keen visual acuity

Main Responsibilities:

Monitoring cleanliness standards for all areas of hotel by Inspect all rooms and public areas . Effectively lead, teach and continually train the team: room attendants, houseman, public/laundry attendants. Maintain room standards in accordance with Brand Standards. Initiate and monitor shift checklists for proper completion of tasks. Create courteous, friendly, professional and training focused on the work environment. Processing orders/monitoring inventory and keeping par levels consistent, ensuring line items are within budgeted guidelines. Monitoring payroll. Ensuring all staff is scheduled appropriately per allowable hours. Coaching and counseling of team members. Notifies maintenance of any rooms requiring the replacement or repair of furniture, fixtures, etc. Effectively deal with internal and external customers with the highest level of professionalism.
