We are looking for a highly motivated team player who wants experience in one of the busiest, fastest-paced bars in Ann Arbor. As Busser, you’ll interact with nearly everyone on staff and will be the hub of our operation. We value dedication and grit, so if you’re ready to get your hands dirty (or clean!) read on. A critical position in our bar, you will support the entire team. Your unfailing energy and unparalleled hustle enables our nightclub to be successful in serving more guests and earning more revenue. You keep our high-volume, energetic college-aged crowds happy by teaming up with our entire staff to provide a high level of attentiveness to our guests.

Responsibilities:

• High attention to detail to ensure machines function at optimal levels
• Ensures Bartenders and Servers have everything they need to maximize efficiency
• Completes standard processes using LIVE’s endorsed methods
• Supports other team members to ensure smooth operations and a seamless customer experience
• Brings a positive attitude every shift and treats everyone (clients and colleagues alike) with respect
• Maintains composure, remains calm and patient despite dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Completes work with professionalism and commitment to quality
• Is consistent with service approach and models organization’s values
• Clears tables with a sense of urgency; enabling more guests to visit the bar
• Has an intimate knowledge of floor plan
• Takes initiative and brings a high level of energy to work
• Requires constant movement between bar, floor and up/down stairs
• Protects the business and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety standards and policies

Need to know:

· Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds, (glassware, garbage, boxes of liquor bottles, kegs), highly physical in nature

· Ability to stand for long periods of time in a hot, humid environment

· Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits

· No experience required, but is preferred – great entry level position!

· Must be available for ALL University of Michigan football home games

· **Shifts are night shifts; requires night time availability
