Napoleon/Lynx has a long history of hiring engaged, productive employees, and we’re looking for a human resources (HR) manager to continue this tradition. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR and employee recruitment, with a thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures. The bulk of the role will involve employee orientations, benefits administration, compensation, rewards, and conflict resolution, and there is great opportunity for developing and refining systems. We’re eager to find a human resources manager who connects easily with people and has a detail-oriented mindset for handling the dynamic nature of today’s workforce.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Oversee and manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
  • Conduct regular training sessions on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop workforce planning strategies
  • Stay up-to-date on HR trends and best practices to ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role
  • Experience developing and teaching content to managers and supervisors to increase their leadership capabilities
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal requirements
  • Proficient in payroll processing
  • Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and present HR metrics to inform decision-making
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
