OrangePeople is Hiring a Project Coordinator ( Music & Content Operations) Near Arizona, AZ

We are seeking a Music & Content Ops Associate to join the Music & Content Business Development team on a one-year contract. This position sits within the Global Partnerships and Content organization and is a unique opportunity to work cross-functionally across the organization to drive Music & Content deal operations from deal signing through payout while supporting product priorities. The ideal candidate has 2 years of experience in a strategy, operations, or project management role, is passionate about the changing music & content ecosystem, and is excited to support our goal of connecting people through social media.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with music business development teams to gather deal pipelines/forecasts.
  • Collaborate with XFNs (e.g., BD, Legal) to ensure contracts are routed appropriately and executed according to timelines.
  • Support onboarding of new music partners (publishers, labels) across geographies as needed.
  • Maintain ongoing tracking and reporting of deals as they move through the deal lifecycle.
  • Support full payment process for music partners, including PR to PO, and troubleshoot invoice issues as they arise.
  • Own deal operation issues and address ad hoc questions from music BD / XFN stakeholders.
  • Conduct ongoing reviews of current processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in media companies, technology companies, or relevant industries.
  • Ability to meet multiple objectives in a fast-paced, highly iterative environment.
  • Creative, resourceful, self-starter, detail-oriented, highly organized.
  • Ability to build relationships with XFN partners across various functions.
  • Demonstrated communication and presentation experience (written, spoken, and building presentation materials).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the music industry, tech and media industry, management consulting, and/or investment banking.
  • Experience with identifying/refining processes, including mapping process flow steps and project management familiarity.
  • Strategic, analytical, and problem-solving experience.
  • Experience building relationships at all levels of an organization with a proven track record of influencing without ownership.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings, and participate in team-building efforts.
  • Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
  • Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
  • Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
