CornerStone Technology Talent Services is Hiring a Human Resources Information System Analyst Near Arlington, TX

Role: HRIS Analyst

Location: Arlington, TX (Hybrid)

Direct Hire

Our client is currently seeking a hybrid HRIS Analyst III to join their IT Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting all HRIS applications through system maintenance, production support, project/process improvements, report writing, and training. This role will serve as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas and will support HRIS upgrades, patches, testing, enhancements, and other technical projects as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the review, testing, and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical staff to support the application of upgrades, enhancements, and/or fixes.
  • Maintain system tables and document processes and results.
  • Write, maintain, and execute test scripts.
  • Manage projects and process improvements, including identifying trends, design, implementation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and other enhancements.
  • Provide HRIS support, including researching and resolving problems not resolved by Tier I Support, addressing unexpected results or process flaws, performing scheduled activities, and recommending solutions or alternative methods to meet requirements.
  • Partner with various HR business functions to identify new enhancements, updates, or maintenance opportunities. Translate business objectives and needs into clearly written functional-technical requirements.
  • Write, maintain, and support various reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assist in the development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs.
  • Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
  • Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Train users on new processes/functionality and new system users as needed.
  • Provide support for creating and updating user security roles and permission lists.
  • Stay current with HRIS trends, focusing on product and service development, delivery, and support.
  • Conduct all business professionally and ethically to serve customers and enhance the company’s goodwill and profitability.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Four to seven years of equivalent work experience and/or training.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including benefit eligibility and enrollment rules and payroll procedures.
  • Strong understanding of HR applications, preferably PeopleSoft and/or Taleo, including their design, structure, functions, and processes, as well as experience with database tools.
  • Strong understanding or experience with agile project management.
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication.
  • Previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in system-related projects.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written or oral form or via client applications.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email.
