Engage Search Partners, LLC is Hiring a Sales Executive Near Atlantic, NJ

Our Client: Join one of the oldest and most well-established food service suppliers in the Mid-Atlantic regions. This is an Account Manager role, ideal candidate will be skilled at business development, client prospecting, cold-calling, networking and building sales proposals for new business - as well as - expanding our services within existing accounts.

Position: Territory Account Manager - Southern NJ Shore - This is a Sales position covering a defined territory calling on restaurants, schools, hospitals, senior living facilities, any establishment providing fresh quality meals for their customers. Candidates need to have a demonstrated history of business development or experience working within the restaurant industry. We are looking for a Sales professional that can identify decision makers within our client’s, set appointments, build relationships, close sales and manage a large volume of established accounts.

Sales Territory: Southern NJ Shore Points- Cape May, Atlantic and Ocean Counties in New Jersey

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Salary Commission: Total compensation Year 1 - 85-100K, Year 2 - 100-130K
  • Plus unlimited commission structure, Company Car, Cell Phone, Laptop.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages all aspects of sales and revenue generation in an assigned geographic territory
  • Sales activity will consist of following up on leads, making sales calls, setting appointments, identifying new clients and decision makers within those clients.
  • Additionally, there are opportunities for cross-selling / up-sell expanded services within existing clients
  • Establishing solid relationships, working out financial and contractual issues with the sales quotes by seeking insight from the Corporate VP of Sales and Chief Operations Officer.
  • Preparing sales proposals and being able to demonstrate the company's value proposition to the client in a professional sales presentation / demonstration
  • Adopts and utilizes Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform (salesforce.com) to generate sales activity reports, forecasts, pipeline opportunities, process compliance, sales results, etc.
  • Consistently maintains a professional demeanor and ethical standards consistent with promoting a positive image.
  • The Account Manager will create sales objectives, a monthly sales plan and quarterly revenue forecast
  • Identify market opportunities within geographic location including identifying new service opportunities, and/or service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, General Business, Hospitality or Culinary Arts
  • Candidates without a degree would have to have experience working in the restaurant industry as a Head Chef, Sous Chef or Station Chef
  • Strong sales and sales-related function skills including commitment to Company Sales Process.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to work with a CRM database system: Salesforce.com or competitive CRM tool
  • Personality Attributes: Self-starter, financially motivated, competitive attitude, Must be able to navigate a diverse work environment with strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
  • We are looking for Foodies with exceptional organizational and time management skills that want to use their knowledge to sell our fresh food and sanitary products
  • Ability to travel throughout the Southern NJ Shore area.
  • Must clear a criminal background check.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record for 3 years.
