Job Duties: Financial Strategy:
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's long-term goals and objectives.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic planning. Financial Planning and Budgeting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor budget performance throughout the year.
- Forecast financial trends, variances, and financial implications of business decisions. Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to the executive team and board of directors, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate financial risks by implementing effective risk management strategies and internal controls.
- Monitor changes in financial regulations and adapt company policies accordingly. Cash Management:
- Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity needs are met and investments are optimized.
- Oversee banking relationships and treasury functions. Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and support in their detail oriented development.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Financial Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate audits and reviews with external auditors.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of progressively responsible detail oriented experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to form and maintain effective relationships with co-workers and customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
