MERSINO is Hiring a Product Manager Near Auburn, MI

Job DescriptionLocation: Auburn Hills, MI
Reports to: VP Sales & Marketing
Travel: 15%
Job Summary: The Product Manager is responsible for managing the development, marketing and profitability of the Mersino and Global Pump product lines for both sales and rental. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of the product lines in the market. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, product management expertise and strong leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product line strategy to drive revenue, growth and market share
  • Manage the entire product life cycle from concept to end-of-life
    • Includes complete pumps and service parts
    • Includes product that is sold as well as rented
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and market trends
  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales and other teams to define product requirements and specs
  • Develop and manager product pricing and profitability
  • Create and deliver product training and sales enablement materials
  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics and make recommendations for improvements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners and stakeholders
  • Stay informed about industry developments and competitive products
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, engineering or related field. MBA is a plus
  • Proven experience in product management, preferably (but not required) in the industrial pump industry
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Persuasive communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) software a plus
